Consumer prices mark up for January 2021

The harmonised consumer price index is higher in an average of 0.5 percent in January 2021, compared to December 2020, the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has announced.
In the report of the Consumption Credit Index (IHÇK) for January 2021, it is said to be explained by the rise of consumption prices in the subgroups of COICOP: bread and cereal (0.7%); trees (0.9%); vegetables (6.1%); alcoholic beverages (1.7%); tobacco (0.8%); use of personal transport equipment (3.7%) fit1> oil prices and gasoline”, with a common impact of these subgroups 0.8 percent for ICH.
While the price drop is noted in COICOP subgroups: milk, cheese and eggs (-0.5%); electricity (-10.5%) electricity emissions (-10.5%) has come from the implementation of the Law on Economic Resemination, Covid -19, No. 07/L-016, Article 15 for the January period May 2021, with a common impact of these subgroups (-0.3 percent) on IHCK.
The annual inflation rate, measured in January 2021 by January 2020, was minus 0.2 percent.
The overall harmonised consumer prices index suffered a decrease in a 0.2% average in January 2021, compared to January 2020, as a result of falling consumer prices in trees (-13.4%); vegetables (-8.4%); clothing (-3.4%); electricity (-10%); glass, toilets and kitchen vehicles (-4.3%); purchase of vehicles (-1.4%); use of personal transport equipment (-9.9%) <x0).
While price hikes in this period are noted in COICOP subgroups: bread and cereal (2.6%); meat (0.6%); milk, cheese and eggs (3.2%); oils and fats (7.3%); sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and candy (2.3%); water, nonalcohol beverages, juices from trees and vegetables (0.7%); alcoholic beverages (2.2%); solid fuel fuel, firewood, clothes etc. (2.6%); medical products, equipment and equipment (2.3%); transportation services (2.3%) ) “raising air transport ticket prices”, telephone and telephax services (20.3%); hotel services (1.6%); personal care (1.1%), with a combined impact of those subgroups 1.7 percent on IHCK.
