Even though for years it was ranked the most reliable institution by the citizens of Kosovo, the events that recently took place within the KP caused this belief to have a huge fluctuation.
The published videos where police officials were seen using physical and mental violence against some citizens, also prompted reactions from many differents to the issue.
Despite that, there is a chain of investigative organs that deal with these developments that are then given the right direction.
News. We have contacted the Kosovo Police Inspector, who have announced that during the following year, exactly in 2020. The IPK has accepted and administered a total of 1,000 and 658 complaints, of which 17 information.

In addition to the accepted complaints, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate in the past year has prosecuted with criminal complaints to the State Prosecutor's total of 82 cases.
In 2020 The IPK has carried out a total of 32 arrests of police officers suspected of criminal acts and six suspected citizens (who have been involved in criminal activities in cases where KP employees were investigated). Also recommended are 83 suspensions and a transfer.
Unlike the Kosovo Police recently, there were several applications, where many young Kosovars who will be part of this institution in the service of citizens eventually joined this institution.
