Closes to the public hearings in which two police officials and others are being accused of kidnapping

Pre-prisonment prosecution requests M. I., Valon Kicinna and Flag Sopp for the same criminal act, that of kidnapping.

In order to preserve dignity and not violate the defendant's interest, lawyer Gazmend Halili proposed that this session be closed to the public.

The procedure on this issue considers that there is evidence that can be violated by the dignity of the defendants and along with the injured, so I propose that the hearing be closed to the public”, attorney Gazmend Halili said.

Under such circumstances, Judge Agim Ademi approved the defenders' request, thus closing the hearing and excluding the public.

The Justice Vow has secured the prosecution's request for the detention measure, in which the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan said on February 18th 2021 has applied for the appointment of the detention move against defendants Visar Krecheli, M. With these actions, they are suspected that, in co-ordination, they have carried out the criminal work <x0... the kidnapping”, from Article 191 paragraph 2 concerning paragraph 1 and Article 31 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code.
