The whole event began when Bardhil Bakija, the early hours of Thursday, passed the light in red. Shortly thereafter, members of the Gjakova Regional Police began to follow him to the vicinity of his home.

There Bakija says the police exercised violence against him, in addition to what is claimed he refused to surrender.

And I got away, and I took his hands off and I said sorry I was wrong. I just got hit by somebody boxing on top of me. I'm about seven men with all my strength. Only God knows what to do to me. I've seen this fight only in the time of Serbia's occupation, Bakija told T7.

He explains why he decided to pass the light in that form.

I wasn't in good shape. I walked up the street and saw 5 and 45 a.m., there was no car, I said hi to the red, 8 seconds. Like the hyna in the red I went about 300 meters but I can see the police”, he says.

The 60-year-old says he will explain why police used this method to stop him.

I don't get out of this job, they're tough, I'm evil. They're strong that they have beat me”, he added.

And from this incident, this citizen suffered injuries. Police officials break two ribs to him. This has been confirmed at the Gjakova Regional Hospital.

I've visited the patient, based on the clinical examination that we've done, tests and CT is the conclusion that he has two broken ribs on the left hand”, said the ortopedi, Burim Sahhqiu.

Although it is suspected that Bakija is a victim, this was initially being investigated as a suspect, since the case had been reported as an attack on the official person. However, upon announcing the occasion, arrangements have been made.

Seven Kosovo Police members have been suspended, until three of them have been detained.

“Rasti is originally the report as an attack on the official person and police units have responded to the case, in the meantime we have received information from the Police Inspectorate that the suspect has been in touch with during the time he was being treated at the regional hospital has contacted. The IPK and there have been complaints about the use of excessive force on the part of police officials, Lumni Graish said by Kosovo Police in Gjakova.

He says they are suspended so that investigations can be conducted without obstacles.

Meanwhile for the suspects, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova has demanded measures of detention.

“Foundation Procurory in Gjakova has banned three police officials, in the course of 48 hours, under suspicion of having committed criminal acts “Keraging during the exercise of official duty or public authorization” and “Burial body injury”, Ylka Juniki-Shehu, spokeswoman for the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova, said.

Similar cases were reported even days ago, where police officials allegedly exercised violence against a teenager. /Express/
