Citizens Ramise Zuka from Fushe-Kosovo in today's early parliamentary elections faced a very different situation. By contrast, after entering the polling site where commissioners had oriented the school polling center “Mihal Grameno” had sprayed their finger before verifying whether it was on the voters' list or not.
Ramise Zuka from Fushe-Kosovo initially says she was unaware of what she was expecting, since she had not known that spraying her finger at the wrong location would leave her without voting.
At first she complains that she had been changed from school to “Mihal Grameno”, where she had voted past times at the Philological Faculty in Pristina, and then shows that after the malpractice of commissioners who had sprayed her finger at the 11th school resort at “Mihal Grameno”, these had given her the opportunity to vote on bail, but had declined.
She tells of Kosova Prees, that she had taken a taxi to vote in the centre she was assigned to Pristina, which was the 1906/22D poll at the Philological Faculty.
We've been waiting for eight in Fushe-Kosovo. When we went in line, we got the blue paint, me and my husband, when we went to the desk, they said, "You can vote, you're not on the list. I said, "What I did to you," they said: "Pristina you are." And I got out of there after three or four hours of getting sick, I took the cab and I came here. That's where they told me your blue color is. I did not want to vote, I wanted my right to use it. This is where they tell me I'm eligible to vote”, she said.
According to the election procedure, commissioners are tasked first to control their hand if there are signs of the spray to verify the person's voting and then verify by identification whether he is on that poll list.
Zuka denies going along with these procedures.
You did not check your data once with ID as to whether you were on the list. We checked first, 10 of us were taken to 11. We waited in line. We know we're there, man, I don't... When you went to 11 you had to give your ID there once, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. At the door to cut the color, then go, and they didn't find me on the page, they told me on bail. And, I came by taxi to Pristina because I'm excited to give the vote where it should. You tried to vote here, I tried, but they told me the color if you shut it down. Now I've got what, I'm coming back, a vote losing”, she told me.
