At the Centre for Counting and Results is continuing the Voter Service work, which is making the assessment of some 43 thousand and 500 alleged ballot packages, which have been accepted during the voting period through mail.
CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has said in front of the media that through this process we will be able to establish the number of ballots that have come from abroad.
He said 19 thousand and 168 packages have been opened so far, of which 22 thousand and 326 envelopes of ballot papers have been approved, while 9 thousand and 49 envelopes with ballot papers have been refused.
So far, 19 thousand and 168 alleged ballot packages that have been submitted to the evaluation process, as you know in a package, may have more than an envelope with a ballot. After the assessment, 22 thousand and 326 envelopes of ballot papers were approved, while 9 thousand and 49 envelopes of ballot papers were refused. Their excuses differ. Some of these packages have been sent by persons who are not registered as voters outside Kosovo, some others because they were sent by persons who were rejected in the application period. Likewise, in some cases packages were sent by unidentified voters (group vote); or that non-valide documents” were attached in the package they sent, he said.
