The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has indicated that the final outcome of the February 14th elections for political subjects and candidates could take place early next week.
At least that's what CEC spokesman Valmir Elez said at a news conference.
He said that tomorrow, it is expected to complete the recount of the polling and assessment of the supposed package with ballots coming from outside Kosovo.
This will pave the way for conditional voting and vote revenues by mail.
“The two activities that are under way here: recounting the locations and weighing of the supposed parcels that came from outside Kosovo, we can say they are at the bottom and we expect them to be closed on Saturday. That makes it possible for us to start counting conditional votes and votes coming in by mail. After their completion and procedures here at the QNR, then the CEC is ready to announce the final results for political subjects and candidates, and we strongly believe it will take place at the beginning of the week”, Elez said.
