CEC spokeswoman Valmir Elezi has told Express that some of the activities under way in the CNR are almost at the bottom, as is the scan of the final voter list, as well as the introduction of data from the candidate and political subject results forms.
Also, according to him, the CEC's voter service is continuing with the evaluation process of about 43 thousand and 500 package claims with their ballot and selection, which they have accepted during the voting period through mail.
This verification process will help us to answer the exact number of ballotings from abroad. So far, a portion of these packages have been addressed, and after the evaluation process, more than 16,000 envelopes of ballot papers have been approved, while another 6 thousand and 800 have been rejected, he has declared.
Elez has shown that their excuses differ.
Most of them, more than 5,000, have been rejected because they were sent by persons who are not registered as voters outside Kosovo and because they were sent by persons who were rejected in the application period.
Other reasons why they were not approved concern the facts that they were sent by unidentified voters (group vote); that non-valide documents were attached to the package; and that they sent ballotes more than twice.
