The World Health Organisation's regional director (OBSH) for Europe, Hans Kloge, stressed that the explosion of the Coronavirus (COVID -19) will be completed in early 2022.

Hans Kluge stressed to Danish state television DR that COVID-19 will continue to be present in 2021, but will be more manageable than in 2020.

Claiming that the worst scenarios are now over, Kluj added that there is more information about the virus compared to 2020, when it started spreading.

He warned that no one can know in advance the future of COVID-19.

There will continue to be virus, but I don't think restrictions will be needed. This is an optimistic message”, he underlined.

Cluj said mutations are normal and the virus is trying to adapt to the infected person, but the rapid spread of mutations is disturbing to them.

Adding that O BSH is closely monitoring the effectiveness of developed vaccines against COVIED-19 due to the virus' fast spread species, Kluj said vaccines could be changed based on new mutations if necessary and there is no need to produce them from the ground.

“Muttations will not make the virus out of control but stressed that countries whose health care systems are already under pressure can be put under even greater pressure, which makes it necessary to take mutations very seriously”, he stressed. /Atsh/
