Brnabyk calls Kurt a non-serious: Sorry that dialogue is not his priority

Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, has said it is a regret that the leader of the winning Kosovo election party -- at the same time candidate for prime minister -- Albin Kurti has said continuing dialogue with Serbia is not a priority. I think this is the inconsistent of political elites in Pristina. Dialogue is the only way to have an agreement on normalisation, which would mean more prosperity, economic progress and stability. I don't know what else could be a top priority”, said Brnabyq, broadcast the REL.
She said reaching an agreement on normalising relations should be a priority for Pristina. According to her, Kosovo does not have “priority” without dialogue and agreement with Belgrade. This he argued with the fact that more than half the world does not recognise Kosovo. Brnabiq added that Kosovo “cannot negotiate EU membership” as the bloc's five member states do not recognise it as a state.
“We are here for dialogue”, she said at a news conference.
Following the release of preliminary results from early parliamentary elections held Sunday in Kosovo, Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti said forming a negotiating team for dialogue with Serbia is not his priority, as he said, this is a sixth or seventh priority for Kosovo citizens.
Our key priority is employment and justice”, Kurti said, adding that if Kosovo is weak in economic terms, Serbia will not respect any agreements.
Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia facilitated by the European Union started ten years ago. After nearly two years of impasse, the process resumed last year's summer. But because Kosovo went to early parliamentary elections, new round of talks at high level has not been in place since autumn last year, while only a few expert-level meetings have been held.
Until the election of the new Kosovo government, official Brussels has warned there will be no meetings within the dialogue.
