Balla: Kosovo elections with a very high standard

Socialist Party Parliamentary Group Chairman Taulant Balla praised the elections in Kosovo today, while he wished that even after April 25th every political party in Albania would accept the result. “I want to start with a wish for Kosovo to hold elections with a very high standard. “I want to start with a wish for Kosovo to hold elections with a very high standard. To congratulate the people of Kosovo for a commendable turnout in the conditions of pandemic, but also in conditions of extreme cold. At the weekly headquarters meeting on elections in Kosovo, we are pleased to find that these elections did very well. I take the opportunity to congratulate all of Kosovo's political parties on the spirit and the standard of elections, but I certainly want to sincerely congratulate Recjetvendosje and our friend Albin Kurti for winning the election. I hope that the process of restoring the new Assembly and the new government takes as short as possible time and we look forward to working with the new government, the new parliament in the function of Albania and Kosovo's European integration”, Balla said.
We're brother and sister and, of course, we get from each other experiences. What is important to me, the message we need to deliver today is that now all political parties must accept the result. I hope that even after April 25th every political party will accept the result. It is very important to give up past experiences such as boycotts. People's votes should be respected and those who lose elections must understand that it is not the people's fault, but theirs. The elections in Kosovo are a celebration of democracy. When people participate massively even in extremely difficult conditions like pandemic or weather conditions, the message is very clear and should be respected by all”, he added.
Meanwhile, regarding the SP's lists for elections, Balla said that “we respect the deadlines set by the Electoral Code”. We continue to make consultations. We have said that the SP in this election has only one ally, the common people for whom we created a very significant instrument as the Deputet platform we love. We will have on the SP lists boys and girls, men and women, who have lived outside Albania's territory and I repeat my appeal by the CEC to necessarily enable Albanians' votes outside the body of”, he said.
Balla said the “is unforgivable that the PD-LSI continue to oppose that Albanians outside the territory, more than 1/3, have the opportunity to express their will”.
Balla said “The SP will come with a list representation of all contributions to Albanian society”. “I'm telling you that the SP lists will be a innovation and will be a meaningful expression of what we said from the first day. We have co-governmentd with the people on this mandate and we will continue to co-rule, because we want to move forward the things we still have. Reconstruction is a very important process. The SP has remained loyal and left no one alone during that tragic event as well as in the conditions of the pandemic”, Balla said.
The January data, according to him, “in the economic aspect is too excellent to create confidence that we are already moving at the right speed to get through this” situation.
The “for all those major skeptics who question the success of reform in justice the successive responses of the SPAK backed by other justice institutions, such as the High Law Inspectorate, have increased and increased the trust of Albanian citizens every day that bringing about reform in justice is a road free of return<1>, Balla stressed.
<x) The crackdown on any structure in the justice system will continue. What we have conceived in that draft programme that will be completed within the week, I believe, will aim to come before Albanians with other important reforms”, he said.
