The case of vaccines for COVID-19 was a topic of discussion at today's meeting of Prime Minister Hoti and Minister Zemaj with IKSHPK representatives.
Although it had been said that vaccines have been secured and that they come in February, no details of a possible date of their arrival have been given in the government communiqué, when even two days end this month.
No figure is given in the report as to how many vaccines are expected to arrive, except the fact that the MSH is waiting for the first container to begin immediately then with its vaccination strategy.
“While, in terms of vaccines, the Health Ministry is waiting for the first vaccine container and is ready to be implemented once it comes, the vaccine strategy Anti-COVID-19 on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo” is said in the statement.
In the communiqué it was also said that the epidemiological situation with KOVID-19 in Kosovo has marked rising cases in the last two weeks for 7.7 %, with growth trends in the last three days of this week from 320 cases to 422 on average this week (24.1%).
Given this fact, I KSHPK has recommended regorosis of the measures.
