Recently, media in Reikjavik over mafia execution that shocked the country has written that it is suspected Armando Beqiri was killed by an Albanian.
So far, 10 persons originally from Albania, Lithuania, Iceland, Estonia, Romania, Portugal and Spain have been arrested. Some live in Iceland and others do not. Among those arrested are two women.
Media in Iceland stress that based on information from investigators the allegations are that the weapon for killing Albanians fired exactly one of its countrymen.

One of the Albanian citizens, after being questioned by authorities in Iceland, was released as investigations of the other 9 persons followed.
There are 9 persons from seven countries in the cell so far. Armando Beqiri was executed Saturday evening (February 13th) at the entrance of the house, shooting at least 5 bullets.
The 33-year-old Tepelena left behind his pregnant wife and a little boy who were at home when he was shot.
