Neither Albania nor the US, this is the first state to have recognised Kosovo's independence

The following day, Kosovo's independence was recognised by the United States of America, France, Albania, Turkey, Great Britain, Afghanistan, Australia, Senegal, Germany, Latvia, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Luxembourg, Peru, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland, Sweden, Iceland, Slovenia, Finland, Japan and Canada.
The last state that has recognised Kosovo's independence is Israel.
On 4 September, United States President Donald Trump said Kosovo and Israel have agreed to normalise reports and establish diplomatic relations.
He made that statement at the White House, where the agreement for economic normalisation was signed between Kosovo and Serbia.
This agreement, Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq was signed at the Oval Office in the presence of US President Donald Trump.
