Shpend Ahmeti has commented on the result that polls in Kosovo have produced for today's elections.
He writes:
Whether they have won under or under 50 per cent of votes or without minority votes are issues that can only determine the margins of governance and (unneeded) coalitions. Also, the discussion about whether it was a vote for LVV or other parties is a matter of television debates.
But one thing is clear despite the final results of the legislation to govern Kosovo in the next four years has the Vetevendosje Movement. This legitimacy is soon followed by who, or better to say, the post-war elections.
Congratulations to the Movement and congratulations to citizens for another democratic election. We hope that they will have the opportunity to deal with the real and big problems that the Republic of Kosovo has right now.
