Good afternoon's old man, Peter Tusha: 100 years old without sickness

He was born on June 3rd 1920, when Albania was experiencing the second decade of independence and had been recognised territorial boundaries by major powers. The 100-year-old man remembers Zogu's Kingdom, then his vacation time from Italians, Germans and the installation of the dictatorship, when the bread was distributed by rations.

The bird held power long enough but borrowed money in Italy. There was no paying back and selling Albania. Then came Italy to Albania, filled it with soldiers here. The best period was in Italy. Then came the Germans, and further took power from the Labour Party. In Communism we've suffered for removing land and livestock. The account was hard to live by. A 700gr of bread gave us”, tells Peter Tusha about the TV report.

But what is the secret of this man's life span that radiates goodness?

I've had minor diseases like the flu, but I've also endured the bad ones and I'm not impressed. And other concerns I've had”.

He claims that he does not suffer from any illness as he continues his physical activity, engaging in small chores at home.

“I work only to pass the time and calm my body, ease my body to avoid leaving my passive body”, Tusha says.

He's a father of six, has grandchildren and great - grandchildren. The boy who lives with him, Ndue Tusha, says that life expectancy is in the genes of this family.

There hasn't been any diseases, there hasn't been any needles in his entire life. He didn't smoke, he drank only a few brandy, and to this day there is no sickness. We have genetic life expectancy, and my father's father died 107-year-old”, he said.

Peter Tusha can fearlessly be viewed as a symbol of his life span in Mirdays and beyond.
