Over 9 thousand mail-income ballots have been declared invalid

At the Centre for Counting and Results is continuing the Voter Service work, which is making the assessment of some 43 thousand and 500 alleged ballot packages, which have been accepted during the voting period through mail. Through this process, the number of ballots coming from outside [...] will be precise.
Through this process, the number of ballots coming from abroad will be precise.
According to data provided by the CEC so far, 19 thousand and 168 alleged ballot packages have been opened that have been submitted to the evaluation process, where, as is known within a package, there may be more than one leaflet.
After the assessment, 22 thousand and 326 envelopes of ballot papers were approved, while 9 thousand and 49 envelopes of ballot papers were refused.
The CEC says the reasons for their refusal are different. Some of these packages have reportedly been sent by persons who are not registered as voters outside Kosovo and others because they have been sent by persons who have been rejected in the application period.
Also, in some cases the packages were said to have been sent by unidentified or otherwise known as “grouping”, or that non-valide documents were attached to the package they sent.
