The Public Health Institute announced that with 18,870 new cases, the total number of cases went to 3,360,235.
The total death toll from COVID-19 to hospitals amounted to 56,476, while in the homes of the elderly it reached 23.671. The total number of victims rose to 80,147.
It is also known that 3,342 are in intensive care of 27.677 hospitalised persons, while with the recovery of 1,724 persons, the total number of cures increased to 234,717.
According to Health Ministry data from December 27th 2020 to now, the number of people who received the vaccine against COVID-19 went to 1,986,617, and 366,733 received the second dose of the vaccine.
