The figures include vaccines by Moderna companies and Pfizer/ B ONTech applied by 6 p.m. on Saturday. Both Pfizer and Modernna vaccines require two doses of immunization.
Federal CDC agency said that by Saturday morning 48,435,536 people in the United States had done at least one dose, while 23,698,627 had made both doses.
7,043,540 doses have been done at the centres for care of elderly and people with serious health problems, the agency said.
The vaccine rate is expected to accelerate with the expected adoption of a third vaccine offering immunization with only one dose.

The Third Vaccines
An expert panel of the American Food and Bars Administration (FDA) voted on Friday in favour of authorising the vaccine with a dose of COVID-19 of the Johnson & Johnson Company for emergency use, drawing it a step closer to distribution in the United States.
The FDA will likely authorize the emergency use vaccine within a day or more, making it the third vaccine available in the United States and the only one shot with one dose.
The panel made up of doctors, infectious diseases experts and medical researchers unanimously voted that the benefits of the vaccine exceed its risks to people aged 18 and older.
The J&J company has said it will be able to send three to four million doses of vaccine next week if it receives access to emergency use, as expected.
More than 50 million doses of vaccines have been administered throughout the country -- a historic moment that was noted Thursday by President Joe Biden.
But the appearance of highly contagious versions of the virus has only increased the urgency of immune hundreds of millions more to a virus that has claimed the lives of more than half a million people in the United States.
The head of the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday expressed concern that a recent decline in COVID-19 cases in the United States could be halted.
In a clinical test of 44,000 people, J&J company vaccine was generally 66% effective in preventing moderate cases up to the severe cases of COVID-19, compared to placebo injections.
Two dose vaccines produced by the Pfizer Inc company in co-operation with the BioNTech SE company and the Moderna Inc company were about 95% effective in major clinical trials.
Experts warned that a difference should not be made between vaccines because clinical trials were somewhat different, and most importantly, studies on Pfizer vaccines / BioNtech and Modernnas were performed before the most infectious versions of the virus were shown in South Africa, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.
The J & J company's clinical test was under way when new versions were being circulated and even prevailing in some of the countries where it was tested.
However, its vaccine was 100% effective in preventing hospital stays 28 days after the vaccine, and there was no death from COVID-19 among those who received the vaccine.
During the meeting, a manager of the J&J company said the company was developing a second-generation vaccine that would target South Africa's disturbing version and will be ready to start the Face 1 trial this summer.
J&J company vaccine can be stored in normal refrigerator temperatures, making distribution easier than for Pfizer companies' doses / BioNTech and Modern Using Technology The RNA is transported frozen.
The J & J company vaccine uses an inactivated virus known as “denovium type 26” to introduce coronary proteins into body cells and trigger immune response.
