While statistics of Kosovo's National Public Health Institute ( IKPK) shows that since March 13th, the first two positive cases with COVIDD-19, the number of infected so far, has risen to 61 thousand and 688.
As a cause of infection with COVID-19 and monitoring diseases, 1,000 and 519 people have died in Kosovo.
“over the last 24 hours, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSCK and private labs with RT- The PCR, a total of 1,951 samples taken by the SSKUK and tracking ground-related contacts, out of which resulted in 284 positive cases. Within 24 hours, five cases of SARS deaths were reported CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Dragash 1 case (81), Mitrovica 1 (73), Obilic 1 case (86), Pec 1 case (83 years of age) and Podujevo 1 case (67). The total number of positive cases is 61,688 cases of 244,950 suspicious persons in the SARS-CV-2 virus and 1.519 cases of death. During the last 24 hours, 224 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 53.455 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,714”, reportedly in the IKAK report.
The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 112 cases, Peja 29 cases, Prizren 21 cases, Ferizaj 19 cases, Gjakova 12 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 10 cases, Gjilan 10 cases, Mitrovica 10 cases, Podujevo 10 cases, Suhareka 8 cases, Decani 6 cases, Kacanik five cases, Vushtrri 5 cases, Istog 4 cases, Lipjan 4 cases, Kamenica 3 cases, Cliv 3 cases, Rahove 3 cases, Dren 2 cases, and a case from Gracica municipality of Gracica, Yunik, Malishev, Okrekrej, Okrej, Snderaj, and the Year.
