“Washington Post” writes that Pentagon officials reported to Congress that only 150 thousand military personnel have been vaccinated on duty so far, out of a total of 1.3 million active troops. Brigadier General Paul Fiedrichs told congressmen that this report matches that of other Americans.
The US Army is also collecting data on which ethnicity within the ranks of military personnel is agreeing to be vaccinated, Friedrichs said. Officials agreed that more needs to be done to convince soldiers to be vaccinated. According to Pentagon records, 21 American soldiers have so far lost their lives in the Coronobrus.
