On the show #age, the 17-year-old said he had always dreamed of taking one more step towards science, since his interest was great.
Since his desire was to become an astronaut, scientific emissions have been his weakest point.
While meeting certain criteria has been necessary to be part of NASA's recent Mars planet competition.
According to Bennett, all that was needed to apply to that competition was interest and knowledge of science.
Although life on Mars is seen as difficult, 17-year-old says such an opportunity is great for mankind.
