At least 14 people have died and 150 others have disappeared after part of a glacier from the Himalayas fell into a river and caused a major flood in northern India in the state of Uttarakhand.
Rivers after the flood opened a large dam of water that was poured through a valley in this country.
Most of the missing are believed to be workers from two hydropower plants in the area.
Hundreds of troops, paramilitarys and military helicopters have been sent to the Utah region to help with rescue efforts.
Experts are investigating the incident, though it is not yet clear what may have caused the glacier explosion. Officials say 25 people have been rescued so far.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a tweet Sunday said he was keeping a close eye on the situation at Uttarakhand.
Leaders from around the world have also sent condolences to victims' families.
My “prayers are with the inhabitants of India and rescue workers at Uttarakhand until they interfere with devastating floods from the collapse of glaciers,”, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Twitter.
The United Kingdom stands in solidarity with India and is willing to provide any necessary support” Johnson said.
