Today, the Board of Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) has held its ninth (IX) session in a row for this year.
At this session, after review, the Board of Z. RRE has decided to launch SOWI company COSOVO L.L.C. license for electricity production from renewable energy sources, from the Air Park “S ELAC 3”, in capacity of 34.47 MW at the ZK Selac location of the municipality of Mitrovica.
Kosovo-German Israeli Undertaking SOWI Kosovo has already built three power generation projects from the wind in the municipality of Mitrovica, with a total installed capacity of 105 MW. With today's decision, the third project of this company, considered to be the largest in the region to produce energy from renewable electricity sources, has been licensed. With the license of this project, the value of capacities from these renewable sources of 230MW has been achieved.
Permissions for V have been issued today ET CONSUM also for 9 generators for electricity production from photovoltaic/solere sources, at 644.94 kW capacity.
The board has also approved the company's continuing License request for the company's abundant electricity supply “G EN-I Tirana” sh.p. K-Dega in Kosovo.
Z Board The RRE has decided at today's session to pronounce the Job sentence on the Hydroeconomic Company “S.A. (HC UJMANI), due to legal violations filed over the continuation of the contract for the sale of electricity in opposition to the Electricity Trade Procedure, in the amount of 110,705.00 (a hundred thousand and seven hundred thousand Euros) made up of 5% of the revenues carried out by the 2020 power sales activity.
Part of the review by the board has been several consumer complaints and other issues that concern the functioning of the sector as well as the Energy Regulatory Office.
