The Supreme Court College has retriald Ivan Todosijevic's case, sentenced to two years in prison by the Constitutional Court in Pristina, for criminal work inciting hatred, division or national, racial, religious or ethnic failure.
The Supreme Court has approved a plea to protect the legality of convicted defenders I.T., and has annulled the Constitutional Court Act in Pristina, the Special Department of the date 05.12.2019, and the Act of Court of Appeals of Kosovo Special Department, dated 24,06.2021, and has turned the case into the first-instance court, into retrial.
On December 5, 2019, the Pristina Court had pronounced the sentence to two years in effective prison for former Local Power Management Minister Ivan Todosijevic.
He was found guilty by the Court of Pristina for a statement issued in 2018, which he attributed to Recak's massacre of January 15, 1999, where Serb forces killed 45 Albanian civilians.
In July 2019, the Pristina Prosecutor had filed charges against former MAPL Minister Ivan Todosijevic for inciting hatred and division.
