While the site is being debated over the energy crisis, Albanian neighborhood residents “The Vitakut” have about days without power following the decay of the traphos.
They seek state assistance because KED is not responsible for that area.
All the Avdiu food reserves in the sector “Vitakut” are wasted as electricity is lacking for about 10 days.
KED does not have that area under administration until the North Mitrovica administration has no interest in that issue.
In this situation Naser Avdiu says they feel abandoned by the state.
The food we have reserve because of the holidays is threatening us. The part that was frozen has already left. Now we only consume ready-food”, declared for RTK to Naser Avdiu.
As his family are another 60 families in this part of Kosovo.
The 11 - member family is facing many challenges especially for children.
Locals call for help from the state.
“We appeal to the government and the municipality to solve the problem and have at least the electricity”, Reshat Rama said.
