Karen Human Rights Group said it found the burned bodies of internally displaced persons killed by the military rulers of Myanmar.
“We strongly condemn the inhumane and brutal murder that violates human rights”, the group said in a Facebook post.
State media reported that Myanmar's army said it had shot and killed an undeputed number of armed terrorists “from the opposition armed forces in the village.
The “People were in seven vehicles and did not stop when the army was told”.
