The world tears out: Trucks crash with immigrants, at least 54 dead and hundreds injured

More than 150 people, believed to be immigrants from Central America, met in the truck trailer when it turned into the state of Chiapas.

This is one of the worst accidents in Mexico.

49 people were confirmed dead at the scene and five others died in the hospital.

Some 105 people, 83 men and 22 women, were also injured by the accident.
