Candidates for driver's license will be tested electronically, and shortly after the test is completed they will be able to understand the test result.

Deputy Minister of Environment, Space Planning and Infrastructure Hysen Durmishi said that through this project the work of patent-viser units will be eased.

While, he added, it will also eliminate the possibility that through corrupt relatives, citizens with license-shops will be equipped.

“As a project on the patent-competer field, I will greatly facilitate the work of the patent driver unit and at the same time cut the waiting time immediately for the theoretical part of the patent-see exam and eliminate technical errors that would have been practiced so far. It's a huge reform in the patent-competer unit. During December we've had the testing phase of the project in all regional centres in Kosovo, and since the beginning of January the seven re-registered centres will begin to implement the entire E-Test project... There is no longer any possibility that through eventually the corruption of equipment someone with a driver's license, so the whole human factor is eliminated here, the software chooses the questions and the candidate submits to the” exam, Durmish said.

Deputy Prime Minister Durmish said he has already earmarked means for the construction of 7 patent-viser centres throughout Kosovo.

We've been sharing a budget for next year to start a major project that relates to the patent-shop unit for the construction of seven regional patent-viser centres because as you know, we're in all centers on bus station facilities. And now with the budget we've shared, we're going to start building objects that will provide much better conditions than we are here and we've shared budgets for the maintenance of equipment and the advancement of software in order to digitise the entire process in the future”, he stressed.

While the director of the patent-spheres Department, Feyzullah Mustafa, said that next year, along with advances aimed at the testing system, are further aimed at digitisation in a practical way.

The total digitalisation will go through the advancement of maintenance and software in 2022, where we've presented some different ideas to advance and digitise the system, then normal that we have projects to digitise the practical part which will come to the future”, he said.

The E-testing project for patent-scoring started as a pilot in 2016, and so far has been practiced only in one unit at Pristina's patent-viser centre.
