On Monday, December 20th, Kosovo's Specialised Chambers with headquarters in The Hague have officially begun their winter break, which, according to official calendar It will last until January 4th, 2022.
For 15 days, the Special Court will not hold court hearings for former Kosovo Liberation Army members.
While the first scheduled session to be held on 11 January next year after the end of the winter break will be on the former heads of the KLA War Veterans Organisation, Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj.
While the next trial at the Special Court for the former KLA commander, Salih Mustafa, is expected to continue on January 18th next year.
Hysni Gucati, along with Nasim Haradinaj, is being charged with criminal acts against justice administration, namely obstructing official persons in performing official duties, fearing witnesses, revenge and violating the secret of the procedure.
