After a powerful tornado hit various parts of the United States, more than 80 people were reported dead.
Meanwhile, the search for survivors in parts of six American states affected by the storm is continuing.
Regarding this natural disaster, American President Joe Biden declared a state of emergency in Kentucky, the worst affected by the storm.
Beden said the government will do everything to help the central parts of the state in the face of the storm's consequences.
The American president also signed the federal declaration of extraordinary situations, thus enabling financial assistance to Kentucky, until he added that this tornado was among the most powerful in US history.
Financial tools for emergency cases will be accessible to other countries affected by Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Tennessee, and Mississippi in case of need.
“Basca will exceed this”, Biden said.
More than 70 people have died on December 11th in Kentucky alone, including dozens who died in a candle factory, but the number of victims is expected to go to over 100.
The fast aid teams are searching for survivors in the town of Mayfield, which was mostly affected by tornadoes.
More than 40 people were rescued until about 110 were in the factory, although the governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear, said that he would not be surprised if no one ever survived.
In the town of Mayfield, police station has already been destroyed and fire equipment damaged. Tens of thousands of people are already without electricity and water. / REL/
