The chairman of the United Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture in Kosovo (SBASHK), Nundman Jasharaj, has announced that at 2: 00 p.m. today, there will be an extraordinary meeting where the suspension of protests in education will be considered.

By means of a proposal for Metro, the head of the SBASKU, has said they have held an extraordinary meeting today at the offices of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo (BSPK), where all Federations were present.

Today we have a meeting with all the university and education representatives in Kosovo. There we will discuss the latest situation and whatever decision we make about the protests we will inform you in time of”, Jasharaj said.

Unlike BSPK at the extraordinary meeting with representatives of all Federations, members of the BSPK have urgently sought approval of the Law of Salaries.

Until the SBASK's proposal at this meeting was supported by all federations that the deadline for drafting the Law of Salaries, the law on pension and health insurance plans was drafted by the Government by February, and in March with approval in the Parliament.

If taken into account, these requests from the government today, then the SBASK is expected to make a decision today at 2: 00 p.m. to suspend the December and January education protests by March.
