The first nine cases of infection with the “Omitron” of the coronavrus have already been officially recorded in Kosovo.

Infectologist Shemsedin Dresaj has raised the alarm that Kosovo leads the region in terms of Omitron infection.

With the introduction of nine cases with Omitron, it means that Kosovo is leading in the region with Omitron version infection. Currently, the Health Ministry along with its teams will have to take measures to prevent this” situation, Dressaj said at RTV Dukajni

Infectologist Dresaj, who is also the AAK deputy in the Kosovo Assembly, says that by mid-February there may be increased cases of coronavirus in Kosovo.

QKUK Infectious Clinic Director Arben Visaj has said that during Tuesday there will be more details about the epidemiological situation.
