The “is not a dismissal, but a release from duty, through formal resignation, and we all know there has been disagreements, no compliance in the sense of co-ordination, the ministry with the KSF, in this case with Commander”. “ ... yet the official decision remains that it has resigned and committed to the new task”.
Rama resigned from the commander's position for no reason, being replaced by Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, who took office completely privately, without media presence.
And the AAK's exclusive, Paul Lekaj, has indicated that the Assembly has not been announced for the resignation of the commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Tman Rama.
Informative and pressing action is calling it the whole process, even considering it to be the dismissal of President Vjosa Osmani and not the resignation of Rama.
Lekaj says violations may have been made in this process, demanding debate in the Parliament and clarification by the government president.
And as far as the commander's dismissal is concerned, I think in this direction he's in the dark, even as Parliament we don't have information, and he's supposed not to be hasty unless there's been any crisis within the KSF, and in this direction, like any other decision that Kurti government is hastily getting and creating confusion in citizens, but also in Parliament. We beg Kurti Government not to make such decisions even though this decision was made by President Osmani, but to be debated and informed. I don't think it's been so urgent that this action is taken. Surely there are also violations, and in the coming days we will be informed of the procedures that have been taken and will be debated in Parliament”, Lekaj told EO.
Rama resigned from the position of KSF commander, while changing command took place at a very private ceremony without media presence.
The KSF will now lead the Lieutenant General, Union Jashari.
