The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina announced that agency “BCD Travel”, with a headquarters once on the Sun Coast in Pristina, is now operating online, on social networks, with several people suspected in co-ordination that citizens of the Republic of Kosovo are being misled, but also by neighbouring countries with tourist lobsters in Turkey, Dubai, Maldives, Egypt, as well as by selling tickets to European countries.

Through a media communiqué, the prosecution explains that it has taken investigative action in this case, where this group of persons allegedly deceived hundreds of citizens who have paid substantial sums of money, as if for obtaining visas in European countries, so that the state prosecutor is continuing with handling the case in question and taking other investigative actions.

“You ensure that, the State Attorney is handling this case responsibly and professionally, and persons involved in committing criminal acts will be prosecuted. So we call on all citizens who are damaged by this tourist agency to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, as the main goal is to combat crime and ensure the rule of law, as well as not to fall prey to such fraud”, said the communiqué.
