But MPs in office have expressed disappointment with the person who has sent the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK) to discuss prosecution and reasoning of cases, gender-based violence and domestic violence.
According to them, in this case the KKP has escaped responsibility by failing to come and provide answers to prosecutors who have made scandalous decisions.
Shenaj Berisha stressed that the article for domestic violence is very unclear and that it does not specify types of violence. She indicated there are four prosecutors in Pristina dealing with domestic violence.
The prosecution is not dealing with domestic violence cases. I invite you to join my office and see how many subjects it has. I have cases I've sent into custody my mates, and the victims come to retreat and want the man to be released”, she stated.
And the commission's deputy chairman, Tinka Kurti, stressed that ridiculous decisions are being made.
The procedure has been reconciled to a monetary sum with the case of violence against a woman in the market. The law for the Prosecutorial Council allows them to initiate procedures against prosecutors”, she said.
