Denmark's government also intends to pay an initial fee of 5,000 thousand euros to cover the transition period, until the prison is complete and complete by personnel. These tariffs will cover all costs related to such an agreement”, said in the letter of intent signed between the two states.

It says that Denmark's Kingdom will be responsible for executing Danish sentences and will ensure the management needed to ensure that the sentences are executed in line with Denmark's international laws and obligations of the Kingdom.

Also, according to her, the use of prison capacity in the Republic of Kosovo by the Kingdom of Denmark should be specified further in a treaty between the two governments.

Governments will also consider opportunities for broader co-operation between the Kosovo Correcting Service and the Danish Prison and Test Services.
