Police appeal to people after tragic accidents in the last 24 hours

Reference to the fatal accidents reported so far, including yesterday's 26.12.2021 accident, between a car and a truck, in the Pec region, where they lost two lives and the accident caused today in 27.12.2021 in the Ferizaj region, where it is suspected that because of not adapting speed and driving conditions, the driver loses control over the vehicle and hits an electric concrete pillar where a passenger has lost his life, Kosovo Police seek care and alert added to traffic.

Rainfalls create difficulties in road traffic and roads potentially become more difficult to drive vehicles, so Kosovo Police call on all participants in traffic, and in particular by vehicle executives, for vehicle management to adapt to road conditions, respect road traffic signs, and be very alert.

The maximum caution of traffic participants, especially leaders, is necessary to avoid accidents in general, particularly those with loss of human lives”, the Kosovo Police appeal said.

Avoid driving when you are tired or sleepless and do not drive under the influence of alcohol. The use of mobile phones during the drive is estimated to be highly dangerous and strictly prohibited in the direction of the” vehicle, the Kosovo Police appeal follows.
