Kosovo Assembly MPs have voted to postpone parliamentary debate on the energy crisis for Tuesday next week.
The AAK parliamentary group had originally come up with the proposal for parliamentary debate, but the proposal to delay the debate also came from the AAK parliamentary group. LVV parliamentary group head Mimoza Kusari Lila has demanded that 12 new points be introduced in order for second reading.
Opposition subjects the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo have not backed this motion.
LDK Parliamentary Group chief Arben Gashi, rejecting the procedure, said the demand to add these points is without reason.
It is now proposed that 12 points added without a reason. I don't understand why you're loving this to become 50 points of the agenda”, he said.
Gashi added that this has never happened in the Kosovo Assembly to pass 50 laws per day.
“instead of talking about energy how people are headed without power as a result of the government's inability to manage this situation, you propose to introduce 50 urgent laws related to this”, he added.
