In Kosovo, during this year, eight new cases have been recorded, the same as in the past, until there are over 40 people monitored by the Infectious Clinic.
And in the latter, panic had been high in 1986. This year, the first patient was laid down.
This became known and confirmed only when samples for analysis were sent to the Croatian capital, because that was not done in Pristina.
Infectologist Ilir Tolaj, who in that world was a doctor-specialist on this note, reports about television, the panic at the time by tempting personnel.
We called the QKUK photo of that time to photograph the difference that the patient had shown in his mouth. He wanted to photograph him from the door, the corridor, which was impossible to become”, Tolaj told Clen Kosova.
But the stigma did not end here. After this patient's death, the entire inventory of his room burned and the room was disinfected.
Tolaj explains that this fear and panic was at the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic until it became more familiar with the virus.
