They told “Radio Kosovo” that high prices are making life difficult when it is known that wages in Kosovo are low.
The price of derivatives is too high and hard to deal with, given the wages and standards that are being lived in Kosovo”, a citizen for RK has said.
The head of the Association that Kosovo Oilmen, Fadil Berjan, has said the price of derivatives has marked a slight decline, specifying that the price of oil in Kosovo is the freest in the region.
“As far as oil derivative prices are concerned, we can say that Kosovo is the cheapest in the region. There has been a decline in world markets where we have reflected. A liter of diesel is 1.16, while a litre of gasoline is 1 euro and 21 cents”, Berjani has said.
“Radio Kosova” has seen prices at several oil retailers in the Gjilan region and has encountered various prices. Within a space of two kilometers, at one point the price of oil has been 1 euro, while at another point of 1 euro and 28 cents.
For this, Berjan has said that determining the price of oil belongs to the free market, but he has stressed that it is disturbing that some oil retailers have the price of a buyer under the purchase price.
“How is it possible to buy one euro four cents and sell one euro and three cents? What profit, what business is this?”, the head of the oil company asked.
Berjan has stressed that Kosovo does not have oil refinery that can guarantee a fixed price.
