Northern Macedonia Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi has met with Kosovo counterpart Artane Rizvanolli and KEK director Nagip Krasniqi.
Bekteshi has said that negotiations on Kosovo coal importing have begun from today.
“To overcome any crisis certainly requires co-operation, and with Minister Rizvanolli we agreed that our excellent co-operation will deepen further in the future and that we will quickly overcome the challenge with the energy crisis! From today we also began negotiations on importing coal from the Republic of Kosovo, where we also presented a draft version of the memorandum for co-operation! I hope that after reviewing all the capacities and needs of both countries, we will reach to a concrete agreement on what will directly affect the excess energy crisis in both countries, Bekteshi wrote.
