The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj, has today met with Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Svechla and Education Minister Arberie Nagavci to agree to the Law of the Salaries.

Jasharaj, in a proposal for Front Online, said that the Law of Salaries was agreed at this meeting in late March.

The two ministers have promised Yashawt that at the beginning of March, debate and consultations with the unions will begin.

“He has promised us that in March he will start debate and consultations with the unions, and by the end of March the version with compliance with the unions will go to the government to vote and then start the procedures for Parliament, we have agreed to this”, he said.

Despite that, Jasharaj has called on Prime Minister Kurti to stop attacks on union organisations.

“We have given this deadline they've asked for, but let the Minister Svecla know, and Prime Minister Kurti let's stop attacks on unions for the union body, but let them deal with their jobs, let them deal with the law, that March comes, will bring either the law to Parliament or protests or strikes for which we are not guilty, and that the citizens of Kosovo should understand us”, he told the Online Front.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said some union leaders are guilty of the situation in education and health and that they must be changed.
