This statement, the muja has given the show “The DPS at the T7's Fidan”, when asked about union requirements.
According to Muja, at the beginning of the mandate, they have also proposed that the opposition address this issue, but that no one has accepted.
With the proposal that the minimum wage be 250 euros, Muja says the MP's salary would have to be 1250 euros.
I think that MPs' salaries are very high, compared to the living standard that we have and the idea has been since the beginning of the mandate, we have told the opposition whether to start addressing this concern, first of ourselves. Let's start with the deputies. Take all of Europe, the MP's salary is that five times the minimum salary, which is the minimum wage we're proposing is 250 euros, which therefore turns out that the MP's salary would have to be 1250 euros, not that high. And then when we start by ourselves, we have a moral authority to send others or our demands seem more sincere to us. So they're here, they're accepting people, and for this reason, we have to take care of them, I think order should be set, principle of meritocracy and transparency, and therefore there's a need for a score of”, has stated the Muja at T7.
Otherwise, trade unions have given government deadlines that by the end of March the Law will go for approval in the Parliament, warning strikes and protests if that does not happen.
