MP Muja: Project for 2022 is highest in Kosovo history

Commission Chairman for Buxhet Armen Munja has recommended that MPs adopt the 2022 budget bill. According to him, the proposed budget of 2.7 billion euros is the highest in Kosovo's history.

At the extraordinary session for a second budget review, he stressed that at some meetings this budgetary division bill was considered in 2022.

We recommend approval of this 08L066 bill on budgetary divisions 2022. This bill has been widely discussed, and there have been working groups that have heard all these budgetary demands. There were also consultations with the ministries of the line concerning this”, he said.

Until he mentioned, as he said, Kurti Government's achievements in budget revenues, he stressed that the priority of this bill is fighting poverty and supporting businesses.

This draft is the highest in the history of the Republic of Kosovo, with 2.7 billion euros. Also unique is the draft budget based on budget revenues exceeding 2.3 billion euros. Because of economic performance, because of the success of the vaccination process and restoring confidence in government and formalism of the measures, there has been a remarkable fiscal performance. This year perhaps last month for the first time the Kosovo government has collected over 2 billion euros”, he has stressed.

Similarly, Muja stressed that for the first time, the government shares the budget of more than 100m euros for the Kosovo Army goes for over 100m euros.

The highest legislative body is considering one by one, 83 amendments to the draft budget for 2022.
