What stands out is the lack of interest of ministers of the Government of Kosovo. Most of Kurt's ministers ignored the address of President Osmani.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and most of the ministers of the Government of Kosovo have been missing in Osman's annual address.
The missing ministers are Armend Mehaj, Arberie Nagavci, Lieburn Aliu, Jelal Svecla, Elbert Krasniqi, Fikrim Damka, Rifat Latifi, Artane Rizvanol and Goran Rakic have not participated in this session.
Meanwhile, Osmani, at the annual address to MPs, has spoken of her commitment as foreign policy leader during 2021. Osmani has said that Kosovo is the most successful and important project of American foreign policy.
“We are happy to say that Kosovo is the most important and successful project of American and European foreign policy and of all who lined up behind us. Kosovo is a state that deserves the inexorable support of our allies, because it has this year proved to be a strong and stable democracy, so I had the honor of proudly presenting our country as an example and a model of a successful democracy under the Summit for Democracy organised by President Biden. Our country remains steadfast in Euro-Atlantic orientation”, Osmani has said, says Democracy.com.
She thanked President Beden for the help during the pandemic with anti-Condavid vaccines.
The biggest help came from US President Joe Biden, granting us half a million vaccines. Thanks to the citizens, I urge them to take the third dose known as reinforcement. As many times throughout history we find the strength to stay together for the good of Republic”, Osmani said.
The session was also boycotted by the Democratic Party of Kosovo. This is confirmed by PDK GP chief Abelard Tahiri, who has listed the reasons.
Through a Facebook post, Tahiri said the reason for the PDK boycott is Osman's failure to serve as representative of the unity of the people.
