Minister Artane Rizvanolli has clarified before MPs what the announcement of a state of emergency implies about the energy issue in the country.
“Such an announcement does not mean that restrictive measures are taken immediately, but enables the government to take measures related to setting consumer energy restrictions. Approval of such a decision enables the government to implement the measures immediately, though the same must be approved by the Assembly within 7 days. Measures must be in effect for up to 60 days. The proposal envisioned the establishment of the Emergency Technical Committee”, it said before MPs.
“Since there has been uncertainty in the opinion, setting these measures does not mean that the measures are imposed immediately, but gives the government the right to impose measures in the duration that it sees necessary to overcome the crisis more easily. So you MPs, I invite you to approve this decision”, she said. /Periscopi
