Minister Latifi travelled to the US, Zemaj: It's not vacation time

Zemaj said the minister days ago has confirmed to the Commission that he moved to Kosovo.

He declared that the government is not primarily managing pandemic.

He told us in the Commission that he was placed in Kosovo with his whole being, but that doesn't turn out to be true even with the logic of what the Government of Kosovo used this year a kind of mirror we've had even during the summer when there hasn't been a prioritization of the management of pandemic and other health aspects”, he said.

Zemaj has said that in this emergency situation with Avid-19, holidays are not an option.

If you're trying, it's like a house that's not guided by the host. When the title is missing, all other mechanisms imply neglect in action. It's not vacation time, it's emergency time”, he said.

The former minister said Kosovo is threatened by the rapid spread of new cases by Covid-19 and by the new Omitron version.

Kosovo still has an emergency move with Covid-19. We are threatened by the new virus, the rapid breakup of Omitron in Kosovo and the region. There could be an increase in infection. As numbers increase, so do death figures”, he said.
