Health Minister Rifat Latifi has reported to the Commission for Health and Social Goodness to priorities and objectives for the health system in Kosovo and the Ministry's Legislative Strategy.
Latifi said in this case he came from America to pay back his debt to Kosovo, demanding support for all as he has said about health reconstruction.
I have left an extremely powerful health institution, where four pediatric surgeons perform 45,000 operations a year, or where extraordinary operations are performed. I've only come here with a very simple goal, to repay the debt to Kosovo. I've been preparing here, I've had the Medical School here, I've finished high school in medicine. For reasons that are now leaving our specialists and doctors, I too have gone to America”
To regulate health in Kosovo and around the world, it's not hard at all, unless we have the idea and the concept of who we need, what we're working on. For us to take care of the patient in a modern way, with the highest standards, we must follow the good team. Teams made up of doctors, nurses, technicians, health workers, managers, all of us”.
Commission Chairman Fatmire Kolcak said the Commission will discuss the objectives and health system in Kosovo.
“We have approved the Governments programme and the spotlight will be the patient. Even a Law for Health Services, we hope you'll come to the country”.
