Trade and Industry Minister Roseta Hajdari has said that Kosovo is being challenged with barriers different from Serbia and that the Government of Kosovo will take measures by acting equally.
She said cargo carriers coming from Europe to Kosovo and passing through Serbia are challenging and forced to export within Serbia and not towards Kosovo, where they have documents from the start.
Minister Hajdari also came to a halt in the request made to CEFTA, where they have asked Kosovo to be represented as a state and not as UNMIK, but said that this is unanimously not supported.
This request was very challenging for that meeting as Serbia insisted that our application not be considered at all at the CEFTA Steering Committee meeting, which was held two days ago. The request found no support, as it is Serbia's enormous impact. Serbia has the biggest impact on CEFTA“, Hajdari said on RTV 21.
According to her, for foreign investments, she must lower or remove all the barriers they face.
